A collection of correspondence, hearing statements and questionnaires relating to the Celler anti-trust and monopoly hearings in 1951 and 1957. A collection of hearing statements from 1951 and 1957, by Ford Frick, Harry Simmons, George Trautman, opening statement by Celler. There are statements from U.S. Representatives and attorney DeOrsey. There is correspondence between Celler and team executives, questionnaires sent out in 1951 to baseball writers and one dated 1958 sent to leagues and clubs from the National Association.

Emanuel Celler (May 6, 1888 – January 15, 1981) was an American lawyer and politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he representred Brooklyn and Queens in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1923 to 1973, representing the 10th (1923-1945, 1963-1973), 15th (1945-1953), and 11th (1953-1963) congressional districts.
